Re: load layer from table sqlserver2008

I've got on the table, with the field type shape(geom) polyline, polygon and
point to the field of X and Y.

and I have an example in aspmap :

oconn="Data Source=myServer;Persist Security Info=True;Password=12345;User ID=sa;Initial Catalog=my_DATABASE"

sqlSelect = "SELECT *, geom.STAsBinary() as WkbGeometry FROM [TL_AREA]"
Dim adapter As SqlClient.SqlDataAdapter = New SqlClient.SqlDataAdapter(sqlSelect, oconn)

Dim dataTable As DataTable = New DataTable()

adapter.Fill(dataTable)
adapter.Dispose()

Dim LayerProp As Layer = map.AddSpatialDataLayer(dataTable, "WkbGeometry")

how in actualmap....???!!

Re: load layer from table sqlserver2008

Seems as you are using an old version of AspMap.

See the Using ActualMap/Mapping Basics/Spatial Databases/SQL Server topic on how to add/edit data from SQL Server, Postgre etc.
