How to take Snapshot of current GIS view on Client Side

Hi,

I am using aspmapnet in my webcontrol to display gis location. I have a requirement of taking the snapshot of current GIS view on client side.

So is there any API in ASPMAp which allows me to download the current GIS view as image

The Map control has the SaveImage/SaveTempImage/GetTempImageUrl methods.

But, the client-side features such as background layers, markers, tile layers etc. will not be included into the resulting image because these methods are server-side.

On the client-side, you may use the Map.print() method from the JavaScript API of AspMap. This is the only way to print the entire map view with all the HTML components inside or save it into a file if the Print dialog box of the opeating system includes a virtual printer driver, such as the XPS Document Writer which is pre-installed on Windows 7/8 machines. Mac OSX also allows users to save the content as a PDF file instead of printing.

Hi, I could not find Map.print()  method from the JavaScript API of AspMap. Please confirm in which version of ASPmap this Api is available.
